Kids’ online game testing

Kids’ online game testing: Seamless sessions with children and parents

Angelfish Fieldwork recruited 5 children aged 9-11, along with their parent/guardian, for 45-minute Zoom sessions to test a popular online game designed for kids.

Testing was completed across different device types, with some respondents using a second device.

To ensure the sessions ran smoothly, the project team managed NDA/consent forms, requested internet speed tests, and ensured new gaming accounts (with no playtime or followers) were set up and verified through screenshots. We also conducted additional tech checks with each parent/guardian prior to the research.

Throughout the process, we kept up consistent communication to ensure respondents followed all steps. Those who didn’t meet deadlines were swiftly replaced.

All sessions went perfectly, and the client was delighted! The Angelfish team’s dedication to chasing responses and managing replacements ensured everything ran seamlessly.
