For this study, Angelfish Fieldwork successfully recruited 45 participants (for a sample of 36) across three age groups—13-16, 17-18, and 19-25—for a sensitive project on youth mental health market research. The study aimed to review and improve content for an online wellbeing support service.
We worked closely with the client to carefully tailor the youth market research recruitment process, ensuring the right demographic mix was represented. Some participants had lived experience with mental health challenges and felt comfortable engaging in creative online activities about sensitive topics. The sample included a gender mix, and we navigated key ethical considerations, including consent and parental involvement where required.
Recruitment initially focused on specific client-designated locations. To ensure all quotas were met, we strategically adjusted our approach, expanding to a broader UK mix as needed. Through proactive communication and expert recruitment strategies, we successfully secured a diverse and engaged participant pool, delivering high-quality results for this important youth market research study.
